Succession Planning Workshop

ARDA, the Acadia Centre for Social and Business Entrepreneurship (ACSBE) and the StFX Enterprise Development Centre (XEDC) have partnered to bring “Beyond Your Business: A Step-by-Step Succession Planning Workshop” to Antigonish to help maximize the potential of local businesses, both personally and financially.

A breakfast and light lunch will be served. 

For a cost of $79 + tax participants will, in addition to the one-day workshop, have access to three webinars on planning for retirement, succession leadership, and communicating a succession plan. 

Also included is a half day wrap-up session in September at no extra cost.

XEDC Youth Entrepreneurship Camp

This summer, XEDC will bring together sixteen Nova Scotia youth in grades 9 and 10 to engage with mentors from the university and the community.

The camp is a 2 night/3 day Entrepreneurship camp for youth in grades 9 and 10 who are interested in learning about business and entrepreneurship. The Youth Entrepreneurship Camp will take place June 4th, 5th and 6th on the St. Francis Xavier University campus

The emphasis of the camp wil be educating youth about the core principals of successful entrepreneurship, including; basic business skills (accounting, marketing and production), teamwork, problem solving, communication, leadership, business etiquette, and public speaking through interactive lessons and exercises.
